How the Pomodoro Technique Works
Focus for 25 minutes
Put on headphones, select a binaural beats track, and work with full concentration. The timer counts down while music keeps your brain in flow state.
Take a 5-minute break
When the timer ends, step away. Stretch, grab water, rest your eyes. Music pauses automatically so your brain can decompress.
Repeat 4 times
Complete 4 focus sessions (pomodoros). Track your progress with the session dots above the controls.
Take a long break
After 4 pomodoros, take a 15-minute break. This completes one full cycle. Most people do 2-3 cycles per day.
Why Pomodoro + Binaural Beats?
The Pomodoro Technique provides structure. Binaural beats provide the neurological environment. Together, they solve both the behavioral and cognitive sides of focus—the timer keeps you accountable while the audio keeps your brain in the right state.
Research shows that binaural beats in the Beta range (14-30 Hz) increase sustained attention, while the structured breaks prevent the cognitive fatigue that destroys afternoon productivity.
